TikTok link not working? Try these fixes
A download can fail when a post is private, deleted, region-restricted or temporarily unavailable to the extractor. Use this checklist before trying again.
Copy the link again
Open the post in TikTok, use Share → Copy link and paste the fresh URL. Short links may expire or redirect differently.
Check public access
Open the link in a private browser window. If TikTok asks for a login or the post is unavailable, Tikdn cannot access it.
Try another available format
HD, SD, MP3 and watermark options depend on the source. If HD is missing, choose SD or retry later rather than expecting an invented resolution.
Tell analysis errors from file-transfer errors
If no preview appears, investigate the link and public availability first. If the preview appears but the file fails, note the chosen format and check the browser download history, available storage and connection. A successful preview does not prove that every source file can still be retrieved. Keep the exact error message for support rather than replacing it with a guessed cause.
Know when to stop retrying
Try a freshly copied public URL once and wait if the service reports temporary unavailability. A private or deleted source cannot be recovered through another quality setting. For a reproducible failure, send support the public URL, format, device and approximate time, but never cookies or account passwords.
Frequently asked questions
Why does Tikdn say the video cannot be fetched?
The post may be private, deleted, region-blocked, rate-limited or temporarily unsupported by the extraction engine.
Why is the watermark-free option missing?
Not every public post exposes a clean source file. Tikdn only displays formats actually returned by the source.
Should I submit the same URL repeatedly?
No. Copy the link once more and wait if TikTok is temporarily rate-limiting requests.
