Download TikTok without an app or extension
If you already have a public post link, a modern browser is enough to use Tikdn. You do not need to install the TikTok app or a downloader extension. This method uses the website and still depends on the original post being accessible; it cannot unlock private content.
Get the link to a specific post
Copy the address of the public video or use Share and Copy link. A creator profile or a search results page is not a specific video. Shared vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com addresses can redirect to the post. Paste only the URL, without the surrounding message or quotation marks, so the tool can identify the intended publication.
Paste it in your regular browser
Open Tikdn in Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge and paste the link in the form. If the paste button cannot access your clipboard, tap or click inside the field and use the system Paste command. A clipboard permission failure does not mean the video is unavailable. You do not need to install software to complete this step.
Choose what to save
Start the analysis and check that the preview matches your post. Choose an available MP4 for the picture and sound, or MP3 for audio only. HD is not guaranteed: the original upload and accessible source formats determine the choices. For a photo post, use the Photos tool and check the detected images instead of assuming a video cover is the whole carousel.
Find the file and check it
Use the browser download list to locate the saved file. On iPhone this is commonly Files and Downloads; on Android it is the Downloads folder. Open the completed file before closing the result page. Browser-based downloading does not automatically add every file to Photos, and an audio file should be opened in an audio player.

Do I need to install the optional web app?
No. Adding Tikdn to your home screen is optional. The same form is available in a normal browser tab.
Why does the paste button do nothing?
Your browser may deny clipboard access. Paste manually into the text field; do not grant unrelated permissions or install an extension.
Can I use a link sent by a friend?
Yes, if it points to a public supported post. A shared link does not grant access to a private or deleted publication.
