Download a TikTok photo carousel
TikTok photo posts are different from ordinary videos. When the public source exposes separate images, Tikdn can prepare the available image files instead of treating the post as a single video thumbnail.
Copy the carousel link
Open the public photo post in TikTok, tap Share and choose Copy link. Use a fresh link because Stories and shared posts can expire.
Let Tikdn detect the post
Paste the URL and start the analysis. The result should indicate whether separate images are available or whether only a thumbnail can be returned.
Save the available images
Choose the photo download option. If the source returns multiple images, download them individually or as the prepared set when offered.
Check the detected set before saving
Compare the number of detected images with the original public post. If the result offers individual images, inspect them in order and confirm that each is distinct. Use a ZIP only when that option is actually offered. A successful archive download should be opened to check its contents; a single cover image is not proof that the whole carousel was retrieved.
Keep images distinct from video exports
A photo collection may include a soundtrack without exposing a complete video version. The image tool does not promise to render photos into a slideshow or add transitions. Keep the source order when organizing the files, and use a separate editor for an authorized slideshow. If only a thumbnail is available, treat the carousel download as incomplete.
Frequently asked questions
Can every TikTok carousel be downloaded?
No. The post must be public and the extractor must receive the individual image entries. A post may expose only a thumbnail or be unavailable.
Can I download a carousel as a video?
The photo tool is intended for the image files exposed by the source. A video export is only possible when a video format is returned.
Are private photo posts supported?
No. Tikdn does not access private accounts or posts.
