Copy a public link

In the TikTok app, open the video, tap Share and select Copy link. Public links from TikTok.com, vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com may be accepted.

Paste the URL in Chrome

Open Tikdn in Chrome or another current Android browser. Paste the link and tap Download to analyze the post.

Choose quality and save

Select MP4 HD or SD when offered, or choose MP3 for the available audio. The browser normally saves the file in Downloads.

Find the actual file before retrying

Open the browser download list and use its file location action, or check Downloads in your file manager. The gallery may index a completed MP4 later. Verify that the file has finished transferring before moving it. If storage is nearly full, free space first; repeated downloads create extra copies without solving the original failure.

Understand the format options

MP4 preserves video and sound, whereas MP3 is only audio. SD can reduce file size, but HD is useful only when the source offers it. For a photo carousel, open the Photos tool and inspect the available images. Do not install an unrelated application just because an advertisement offers a separate download button.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Android downloader require an app?

No. Tikdn runs in the browser. You can optionally add the website to your home screen as a PWA.

Where are downloads saved on Android?

Most Android browsers place downloaded files in the Downloads folder or show them in the browser download manager.

Why is HD not always available?

The available quality depends on the source files returned for the public post. Tikdn does not invent a higher resolution.
