Which TikTok links are supported?

Paste the full link to a public TikTok post, such as https://www.tiktok.com/@creator/video/123456789. Shared links beginning with https://vm.tiktok.com/ or https://vt.tiktok.com/ redirect to the original post and are also supported. Copy the link from Share rather than copying an entire message. Tikdn analyzes the publication to identify the available video, audio or photo resources, then prepares the selected file. A profile link is not a link to a particular video. No TikTok password is required.

Which download format should I choose?

MP4 contains the picture and synchronized sound; MP3 contains audio only. HD and SD describe video quality, not different file types: HD generally retains more detail, while SD usually takes less space. Tikdn cannot create detail missing from the original upload, and converting audio to MP3 does not improve its original quality. A watermarked version includes the visible source logo; an unmarked version is offered only when available. Choose among the formats actually shown for your link, and use downloaded material only with the necessary permission.

Use Tikdn on iPhone, Android, tablets, Windows, macOS or Linux. Safari and Chrome normally save files to Downloads, where you can move them to your gallery or Photos app.

Privacy and temporary processing

Tikdn uses the public URL you submit to analyze the post and prepare a download. Analysis results may be cached briefly, and file preparation can use temporary server storage. The web download response requests deletion of the prepared file after sending it; interrupted transfers and other temporary files may remain until server cleanup runs. This is not permanent file hosting or a guarantee of deletion at an exact time. Save the file on your device, and consult the privacy policy for information about logs and third-party services. Private accounts are not accessible through the downloader.

Why can a TikTok link fail?

First check that the complete link opens the public post, then copy it again from Share. A private, deleted or expired publication cannot be recovered by changing the format. Regional restrictions or temporary limits from TikTok can also prevent retrieval. If HD is missing but SD is offered, the source may not expose a higher-quality version. If a file does not appear, check your browser’s download history, free storage and download permissions before retrying. Never provide your TikTok password to unlock a failed download.

Where are TikTok downloads saved?

Individual photos or a complete archive depend on the source and the available download options. Saving a video cover does not recover its frames or a complete carousel. Keep a copy on your device rather than relying on a temporary result link.
